Mary Alice Callahan, age 80, of Copperhill, TN passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Callahan was born on June 12, 1940 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late John Callahan and Alice Almanda Tondreau. She worked in the banking industry as an account manager for Wells Fargo. Mrs. Callahan was of Catholic faith as a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Margate, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Anthony Medeiros; and brother, John Callahan. Mrs. Callahan is survived by children, Joseph (Carolina Jimnez) Medeiros of Margate, FL, Dawn Mancini of Dania Beach, FL, Michael (Tracy) Medeiros of Copperhill, TN, and Steven Love of Montgomery, AL; brothers, Allan Callahan and Ralph Callahan both of Rhode Island; sisters, Carol Schlereth, Joan Greenburg, and Debbie Callahan; sister-in-law, Carol Medeiros; great supporter and wonderful friend, Jane Cole; as well as, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Medeiros Family Cemetery in Copperhill, TN. Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Mrs. Callahan to the ASPCA or to a butterfly conservation organization of your choice.
