Mary Alice Williamson, age 79 of Turtletown, TN passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. She was born on August 4, 1944 in Murphy, NC to the late Grady Elmer Williamson and Alma Pickelsimer Williamson. Mary attended Charity Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Calvin McKinley Williamson.

Survivors are her brothers, Dewey Williamson (Peggy) of Shelby, NC and Paul Dan Williamson (Martha) of Knoxville, TN; sister-in-law, Wanda Williamson of Turtletown; nine nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel at Akins-Cobb with Rev. Alan Pickelsimer officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Community Church Cemetery in Murphy, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 1:00 till 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Charity Baptist Church c/o Cynthia Parris at 3008 Lickskillet Rd. Epworth, GA 30541.
