Mr. Marvin Botts, age 70, of East Point, GA passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his home. He was born in Fairmount, GA to the late Elmer Alley and Ruby Ann Gray Botts. He retired as a Warehouse Worker for Caterpillar Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Mattie Payne Botts; sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher Lee and Nicole Botts of Middleboro, MA and Jonnie Gregory and Linda Botts of Lawrenceville, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene Louise and Douglas Reeves of Winston, GA and Janice Lynette and David Tuggle of McDonough, GA; brother, Freddie Botts; sisters, Brenda O'Conner, Willie Mae Barrentine, and Ruth Ann Parrot; Eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge with Rev. John Henry Payne officiating. Interment followed in the Patterson Cemetery. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: David Tuggle, Tanner Botts, Tyler Botts, Jeffrey Hudson, Adam Tuggle, and Clifford Payne.
