Marty Larry Long, age 53 of McCaysville, GA passed away. God called Marty home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 24, 2016. He was born on February 23, 1963 in Gwinnett County, GA. Marty worked for Colonial Pipe Line as an electrician technician in Austell, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, James Larry Long. He is survived by his precious daughter, Felecia Marie Long age 10; his loving mother, Virginia Long; five siblings, Cindy Long Roquemore, Jimmy Long, Chris Long, Alan Long and Keith Long; many nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. A local funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Claude Mathis officiating.
