Obituary

Martha Regina Panter, age 69, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was born on March 31, 1953, to the late James Carlton Ross and Martha Virginia Talley Ross. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed and collected angel figurines. She is preceded in death by her parents and first husband, William Kenneth Panter.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Davis; children, Carrie (Jimmy) Phillips of Marietta, Amy (Rev. Denny) Hawkins of Blue Ridge, Julie (Rhett) Martin of Blairsville, and Jamie (Jessica) Panter of Williston, ND; grandchildren, Stephanie Phillips, Richelle Hawkins (Jeff) Ralston, Amelia Hawkins, Emilee Hawkins, Terra Martin, Jake Martin, Jenna Martin, and Lillian Panter; great-grandchildren, Aravae Ralston and Elyse Ralston; brothers, Steve (Teresa) Ross, Robert (Joyce) Ross; and nephews and nieces, Luke Ross, Jason Ross, Eric Ross, Heather Queen, and Alex Ross.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Denny Hawkins officiating. Music was provided by Rev. Denny Hawkins and the Helping Hand Church Choir. Interment followed in the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Luke Ross, Jamie Panter, Steve Ross, Rhett Martin, Jake Martin, and Jimmy Phillips. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
