Martha Jane Posey Key, age 85, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Wellstar Hospice in Kennesaw.

Born September 9, 1937 in Blue Ridge, GA, she was the daughter of the late Fernando Cortez Posey and Grace Bonnie Phillips Posey.

Martha was a retired LPN and Critical Care Technician with Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and was of the Baptist Faith.

Family members include her daughter, Marsha Key of Kennesaw; sister, Jeanette Petty of Lavonia, GA; nephews, Mike Petty (Deb), Ken Petty (Cindy), and Tony Petty; brother-in-law, Harold Key; her close companion, her dog Kirby; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her dog Peanut preceded her in death.

The family will have a graveside service in Blue Ridge, GA at a later date.
