Mrs. Martha Jean Dunn, age 80, of Copperhill, TN passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 in the LifeCare Center in Ducktown, TN. Mrs. Dunn was born in McMinn County, TN on February 23, 1931 to the late Robert Wyatt and Lola Coffey Wyatt. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge where she taught Sunday School for 30 years. She was also active in several social and community clubs. She is survived by her husband, Bill Dunn of Copperhill; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dr. John Walton of Blue Ridge; sisters-in-law, Pearl Davidson of Paducah, KY and Catherine Dunn of Epworth, GA; and two grandchildren, David Walton of Atlanta and Sara Walton of Blue Ridge. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Bob Hoggard and Rev. Charles Howell officiating. Music was by Imogene Stewart. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Don Hall, Kenneth Wood, Zachary Welch, Jerry Gordon, Steve Bailey, Billy Hyde, C.W. "Junior" Mason and Bill Huff. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Milam, David Haight, Sr., Robert Thomas, Sr., Joe Pack, Bill Stewart, R.T. Abernathy, Raus Abernathy, Corey Callihan, C.H. Loudermilk, Rondall Sisson, Claud Queen, Jr., Frank Shinpaugh, Johnny Chastain, Bob Kilpatrick, Jack Bryson, Bency Turner, Kevin Turner, L.G. Hoogandoorn and Charles Smith.
