The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces funeral services for Marshall "Buck" Cearley, age 86, of McCaysville, GA who passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Mr. Cearley was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late Hershel and Ella Rose Gaddis Cearley. He was a veteran of WWII and a POW. He was of the baptist faith. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Cearley and Bill Cearley and sisters, Grace Alice Hyde and Allie Monteith.He is survived by brother, Marvin Cearley of Sharon, NC; special nieces, Harriet Barnes, Linda Ray and Dot Bigham along with a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, August 14, at 12:00 P.M. from the Mt. Moriah Church cemetery with Johnny Housley officiating.
