Mr. William "Mark" Simpson, age 60, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on August 21, 2019 at his residence. Born in Marietta, GA, he was the son of the late William Lucious and Helen Jeanette Gibson Simpson. He had worked for F.M. Stainless in Ellijay, GA as a Floor Supervisor. Mark was a simple man who enjoyed reading and playing X-box. Survivors include his spouse, Linda Walker of the home; children, Angela Walker of Blue Ridge, GA, Jodie Rider of Mineral Bluff, GA and Shane Walker of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Alex Simpson of Puerto Rico; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.
