Marion Douglas Waters, age 40 of Copperhill passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012. He was born in Copperhill, TN on June 29, 1972 to the late Willard Jacob and Wanda Sue Locke Waters. Marion worked at M&M Mars. He served in the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.He is survived by on daughter, Jenna Waters of Copperhill, TN; stepchildren, Wesley Cearly of Turtletown, TN, Adam Barnett of Turtletown, TN and Kayla Powell of Reliance, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Lora and Noel Kennedy of Copperhill, TN; grandparents, Marion and Vivian Locke of Copperhill, TN; five nieces, Celeste Beach, Ansleigh Jones, Christine Kennedy, Hannah Waters and Jacqueline Waters; many uncles, aunts and cousins also survive.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Paul Ray Harper and Rev. Billy Waters officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid and Amy Allen. Pallbearers will be Johnny Buckles, Russell Caldwell, Gary Pranter, Greg Payne, Michael Worley and Mikey Worley. Honorary pallbearers will be special friends at M&M Mars and East Polk Fire and Rescue. Interment will follow in the Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
