Mrs. Marilyn Lucille Nicholson, age 65, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on July 8, 2015 at her home. She had worked for a number of years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Nicholson was also a member of the New Vision Church. Those preceding her in death is her father, William Rockford Patterson; sister, Anita Miller and one brother, Alvin Patterson.Survivors include her husband, Bobby Nicholson of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Brian Stuart Arp and Bobbie Jane of Epworth, GA; daughter, Dana Renee Arp Cole of Blue Ridge, GA; mother, Ruby Mae Patterson of Copperhill, TN; brother, Carlton Patterson also of Copperhill, TN; grandchildren, Dylan Cole, Dexter Arp, Dalton Cole and Bre Kailyn Arp.Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Hicks officiating. Music will be provided by Back to Bethany. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Keith Miller, Edwin Patterson, Joshua Patterson, Danny Patterson, William Patterson and Pat Hutcheson.
