Marie Mull, age 95, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on October 30, 2023 at her home. She was born on September 19, 1928 in McCaysville, GA to the late Rashio Dockery and Della Marie Bell Dockery. Marie was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of Union Baptist Church, where she served as a third generation treasurer for over thirty years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Mull; daughter, Glenda Joyce Tate; grandchildren, Andy Harris and Jason Mull; and siblings, Clyde Dockery, Vinuis Dockery, Ruby (Melvin) Harper, Josephine Pittman, Kenneth Dockery, J.B. Dockery, Joan Kaylor, and Melvin Dockery.

Marie is survived by her children, Larry Joe Mull (Deborah) of Mineral Bluff, GA and Odetta Greer Patterson of Mineral Bluff, GA; grandchildren, Sharon Crenshaw (Mark), Amanda Collins (Marshall), Holly Rennels (Darrell), Jeremy R. Greer (Stephanie), Melinda Briant (Larry), Pam Hayes (Tim), and Jared Mull; fourteen great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren; siblings, Mark Dockery (Marie) of Douglasville, GA and June Floyd of Knoxville, TN; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Union Baptist Church with Rev. John Arp officiating. Prior to the service, Marie will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Music will be provided by Sharon Crenshaw, Amanda Collins, and Holly Rennels. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jared Mull, Jeremy Greer, Dalton Montgomery, Brandon Montgomery, Samuel Mull-Postell, and Derick Postell. Selected to serve as honorary pallbearers are Gavin Collins and Marshall Collins. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, November 4, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
