Mrs. Margie Marie Millholland Henson, age 74 of Ellijay, GA passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010. She was born on November 4, 1935 in Fannin County, GA to the late General Sherman and Arvie Galloway Millholland. She retired from Queen Carpet as a machine operator. Mrs. Henson was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold S. Henson.Survivors include sons, Steve and wife Janie Henson of Resaca, GA, Alan Henson of Ellijay, GA and Richard and wife Jennie Henson of Jefferson City, TN; daughter, Sandy and husband Ken Higdon of Old Fort, TN; brother, Johnny Millholland of Ducktown, TN; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. from the Akins Chapel with Rev. Eddie Trentham officiating. Music was by Jeff and Denise Calhoun. Interment followed in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were J.J. Calhoun, Kenny Adams, Eddie Swallows, David Rymer, Brian Winegar and Kevin Stone.
