Mrs. Margaret Estelle Lunsford Turner, age 71 of Blue Ridge passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at her home. She was born on September 14, 1938 in White County, GA to the late Drew Washington and Myrtle Loucinda Winkler Lunsford. Mrs. Turner worked at Huff Drug Store as a beauty technician. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Neal Lunsford and a sister, Annie Lee Armour. Survivors include her husband, Bency L. Turner of Blue Ridge, GA; sons, Jeff L. Turner and wife, Bonnie of Athens, GA and Bency Kevin Turner of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter, Cheryl (Cherri) Ann McDuffie and husband, Dale of Baldwin, GA; brother, Welburt Lunsford of Decatur, AL; sisters, Dorothy Harwell of Water Valley, MI, Clezell Harwell of Oakwood, GA, Deloris Simpson of Gainesville, GA, Johnnie Sue Ash of Cleveland, GA, Ann Culpepper of Clermont, GA and Lennie Ruth Thrasher of Decatur, AL; grandsons, Adam Stanley, Dustin McDuffie, Jeffery R. Turner and John Robert Turner. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, September 13, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge with Dr. Charlie Howell, Rev. Harold Willis and Rev. Bob Hoggard officiating. Music was by Imogene Stewart and Brian Huffman. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park with Rev. Denzil Jack officiating. Pallbearers were Adam Stanley, Dustin McDuffie, Jeffrey R. Turner, John Robert Turner, Bill Rush and Paul Cochran. Honorary pallbearers were Don Weaver, Rev. Al Patterson, Rev. Claude Mathis, Bill Huff, Steve Bailey, Jerry Gordon, Kenneth Wood, Jim Taylor, Fred Taylor, Don Hall, Bob Milam and Rev. David Whitener.
