Mrs. Margaret Louise O'Neal Piatt, age 79, of Cleveland, TN passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007 in the Life Care Center in Ducktown, TN. Born in Ducktown, TN she was the daughter of the late Lonas and Jennie Keenum Payne. Mrs. Piatt was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.She was survived by her husband Earl Piatt of Cleveland, TN; two sons and daughters-in-law, George Edward and Lucille O'Neal of McCaysville, GA and Billy Clark and Brenda O'Neal of McCaysville, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Ricky and Brenda O'Neal, Becky and Richard Davis, Jessica and Adam Deal; grandson, Waylon O'Neal; four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Coppperhill Chapel with Rev. Ed O'Neal and Rev. Melvin O'Neal officiating. Music was by Hoyt and Caroline Payne. Pallbearers were Ricky O'Neal, Richard Davis, Waylon Davis and Josh Lacy. Interment followed in the Patterson Cemetery.
