Mrs. Margaret Patterson Mullis, age 86 of Blue Ridge passed away April 17, 2011 in Decatur, GA. She was a devoted and longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Lanier Mullis and her parents, E.J. Patterson and Mary Frances May. Her siblings, Lanier Patterson, Lawrence Patterson and LuFrance Anderson also preceded her in death.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Sidney Lanier Mullis, Jr. and Ginny of Augusta, GA; daughters and son-in-laws, Beverly and Larry Holmes of Stone Mountain, GA and Trenice Mullis-Dubow and Joel of Tucker, GA; grandchildren, Brian Holmes of Atlanta, GA, Michael Collingsworth of Augusta, GA and Lindy and Joey Mullis of Augusta, GA.Funeral services were conducted Wednesday April 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel in Blue Ridge, GA with Rev.
