Peggy Jo's zest for life extended far beyond her professional career. She had a passion for traveling and shopping, and these adventures were enriched by the company of her family and friends. Her warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her.
Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Lynn McGee, and her granddaughter, Ashley Phillips Ganziano. Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Chuck McGee (Michelle) of Palm Harbor, FL; Johnny McGee (Angela) of Rossville, GA; and Kelly McGee (Beth) of Benton, TN; and her daughter, Becky McGee Oliver (Steve) of Ellijay, GA.
Peggy Jo's legacy extends to her loving granddaughters: Libba Phillips Mullins (Jeff) of Oldsmar, FL; Virginia Lynn McGee of North Richland Hills, TX; Gabrielle McGee Ward (Alex) of Barcelona, Spain; and Ruby Jean and Stella Grace McGee of Benton, TN. Additionally, she leaves behind great-granddaughters Isabella, Kayla, and Lola, all of Florida.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Yvonne McGee Andrews (Ed) of Hayesville, NC; nieces Lisa McGee Smith (David) of Denver, NC, and Carla McGee Houser (John) of Marietta, GA; and several beloved cousins.
