Margaret Elizabeth McClelland Buerger, lovingly known as "Maggie", age 71, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026 at her home.

Born on February 16, 1955 in Marietta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late George Hobson McClelland Sr. and Mary Alice Mashburn McClelland.

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Alice Adele "Dele" Haynes and Marsha Elaine McClelland Castaneda; nephew, Benjamin Haynes; and special friend, Bob.

She is survived by her siblings, Mary Panther, George Hobson McClelland Jr. "Buzz", and Ashley Dorsey McClelland; nieces and nephews, Sabrina Coleman, Gabbie Rhodes, Jeremiah Wells, Jessica Robertson, Allyson Haynes, and Michael Martin McClelland; and many beloved great nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering of family and friends for visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, Georgia from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
