The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces funeral services for Mrs. Marcia Christine Crawford, age 77, of McCaysville, GA who passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2009 in the Heritage Health Care in Blue Ridge, GA. Born in McMinn County, TN she was the daughter of the late Rev. James and Blanch Moss Morgan. She was loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Crawford was a long time member of the Mt. Liberty Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband of many years, Paul V. Crawford.Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, Newell and Jerrie Crawford of Woodstock, GA and Ralph and Carol Crawford of Hope Mill, NC; grandchildren, Paula Anderson, Holly Ford, David Jones, Dannette Jones, and Tammy Smith; great grandchildren, Coy Jones, Grant Anderson, Garrett Ford, Reed Anderson, and Olivia Ford.Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday April 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Queen officiating. Music will be provided by Linda Hardin, Matthew McDaniel and April McDaniel. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Harry Walker, Spence Dilbeck, Justin Anderson, Gregory Ford, Robert Crawford, Bobby Dills, and Larry Payne.
