Mrs. Lynn Morgan Stump, age 71, of Dunwoody, GA passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009. Mrs. Stump was born on December 19, 1937, to the late Paul David "P.D." Morgan and the late Thelma Myers Morgan in Florence, SC. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 1967. She was employed by the United States Forest Service from 1977 to 1997 as a Visual Information Specialist. She was a member of Northside Independent Methodist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of twenty six years, Orville Menees "OM" Stump of Dunwoody, GA; seven children, Terri O'Barr of Hartwell, GA, Trey Thomas and Joanna Mulacek, Dianne Swilling, Jody Stump, Cindy Davenport, and Tom Stump, all of Atlanta, GA; sister, Paula Grau of Vicksburg, MS; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 12 noon from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Joe Kontyko officiating. Interment followed in the Barnes Chapel Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tom Stump, Craig O'Barr, Steve Davenport, Charles Swilling, Zachary Swilling and Lynn Panter. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as honorary pallbearers: Bobby Cloyd and Eddie Panter.
