The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mr. Lyle A. Brooks, Jr., age 74, of Blue Ridge, who died Monday, March 9, 2009, at his home. Survivors include Mr. Brooks' good friends Mr. & Mrs. Harold Farrell and their family. Graveside services will be at Macedonia Church of Christ cemetery at 5:30 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2009, with Min. Bobby Bearden officiating.
