Lucille Ellen Hawkins, age 83, of Ducktown, TN passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Pruitt Health of Blue Ridge. She was born on July 16, 1938 in Beaver Dam, NC to the late Earl Dilbeck and Ethel Curtis Dilbeck. Lucille retired from Levi Strauss and Company as a seamstress. She was a member of Ducktown United Methodist Church. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Ray Hawkins and sister, Dollie Jones. Survivors are sons, Ray Hawkins of Dacula, GA and Alex Hawkins of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Matthew Hawkins of Ducktown, TN, Amanda Cataldo of San Diego, CA, Kayla Shields of Blue Ridge, GA, Dakota Hawkins of Jacksonville, FL and Macy Hawkins of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alden and Nora Dilbeck of Ducktown, TN and Dale and Geri Dilbeck of Dawsonville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Carrie Mae and Gerald Mize of Marietta, GA and brother-in-law, Buddy Jones of Lawrenceville, GA. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jim Crews officiating.
