Mrs. Lucille Cole, age 89, of Blairsville passed away on December 14, 2015. Born in Cherrylog, GA she was the daughter of the late Wiley Bert and Ida Stepp Ledford. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked in retail for many years. Her husband, Howard Francis Cole precedes her in death. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Marilyn Waldschmitt of Lake Port, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Dot and Dewayne Mull of Blue Ridge; grandson and his wife, Chris Waldschmitt; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Music was provided by Brian Huffman. Serving as pallbearers were: Roger Beavers, Ryan Beavers, Lee Cox, Gary Huffman, Michael Mull and Danny Beavers. Interment followed in the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
