The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mrs. Louise Emillion Seville, age 90, of Copperhill who passed away Friday, January 4th, 2008 in the LifeCare Center in Ducktown, TN. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Laura Corbier. She retired as postmaster for the Congers, NY Post Office as one of the first female postmasters in the State. She was of the Catholic faith, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Congers, NY, and was known for her faithful giving to many charitable organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Lawrence Seville. She is survived by son Daniel C. Seville of Copperhill; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Kaede Seville of Wilton, CT; grandchildren, Daniel J. (Michelle) Seville, John V. (Jamie) Seville, Deborah (Patrick) Keller, and Laurie (Paul) Mannellino; and eleven grandchildren. A memorial service was conducted Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Father John Conway officiating.
