While attending nursing school in Columbus, Lorrie & Ray began their family and had 3 boys. Lorrie worked as a nurse in Columbus until moving to Atlanta in 1980. With the move, Lorrie changed careers and was in retail management with Causal Corner, Rich's/Macys, and Home Depot in the Atlanta area until moving to Blue Ridge in 2001 to be close to her grandchildren. Lorrie was in retail management for over 30 years before retiring from Home Depot.
She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Scott and Eilene Ross of Lawrenceville, Sam and Elizabeth Ross of Atlanta, and David and Tonia Ross of Blue Ridge and her beloved grandchildren, Spencer, Madeline, Grant Dakota, and Murphy.
