Mrs. Lorraine O'Neal, age 92, of McCaysville, GA, passed away on May 30, 2020 at her home. Born in Polk County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Forest F. and Cricket Jenkins Davis. She had retired from the Blue Ridge Nursing Home in the dietary department after twenty plus years of service. She enjoyed singing and worshiping her Lord at the New Vision Church in Blue Ridge, GA. Also preceding her in death is her loving husband, Dallas Jefferson O'Neal; three children, Dallas Edward O'Neal, Wayne Paul O'Neal and Charles William "Chuck" O'Neal; grandson, Brian Lowery; and siblings, Lester Davis, Elsie Davis Ragsdale, Mildred Davis Dalton, Winfred Davis, Willie Davis, Gladys Davis Dillard and Roy Davis. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Marianne and Ron Dawson of Niota, TN, Meloney Sheely, and Rev. David and Amanda O'Neal all of McCaysville, GA; grandchildren and their spouses, Kenny and Tammy Lowery, Rebecca and Dillis Freeman, Brina and Rylan Pratt, Cherie and Matt Williams, Christy and Ronald Stiles, Joshua and Kayleigh O'Neal, Joseph O'Neal, and Emanuel O'Neal; great grandchildren, Nathaniel Lowery, Benjamin Lowery, Trent Lowery, Hannah Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Jared Stiles, Jacob (Trinity) Stiles, Isaiah Stiles, Hannah O'Neal, Luke O'Neal, Chloe O'Neal and John O'Neal; siblings, Marie Davis Dillard of Rex, GA and Troy Davis of Hixson, TN. Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mt. Zion (Tumbling Creek) Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Hicks officiating. Music was provided by Rev. David O'Neal and Ron Dawson.
