Mrs. Loretta Gilliam Farness, age 75, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at her home. She was born on May 20, 1935 in Fannin County, GA, to the late Claude and Elmer Dillard Patterson. Mrs. Farness was a member of the Blue Ridge Church of Christ. Her husband, Eddie and she were owners and operators of Gilliam's Amoco in Blue Ridge. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Eddie Gilliam, Armin Farness and a daughter, Delores G. Miller. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Cindy Gilliam of Blue Ridge, GA; son-in-law, Bill Miller of Cherry Log, GA; sister, Willa Mae Phillips of Chatsworth, GA; three grandchildren, Trent Miller, Cally Jo Miller Nichols and Christian S. Gilliam; one great-granddaughter, Katie Nichols. Graveside services were conducted on Sunday, February 13, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. from the Chastain Memorial Park with Minister Terry Stuart officiating.
