Lloyd Harold Martin, age 66, of Blairsville, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at his home. Lloyd was born on August 25, 1957, in Hayesville, to the late Thomas Jefferson Martin, Jr. and Pearl Irene Grooms Martin. He worked for many years in the propane industry, serving as a Service Technician, Driver, and Manager. Lloyd was a member of Salem #2 Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Leon Martin, Linda Debty, Louise Gossett, Shirley Teems, and an infant brother and sister.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kristy Martin; daughter, Brooke Martin; adopted son, Daniel (Madison) Davis; grandson, Isaiah Davis; sister, Norma Brown; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the Salem #2 Baptist Church with Rev. Brett Curtis and Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Music was provided by the Caylor Family and the Hayes Brothers. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Rev. Justin Payne officiating. Ruby Payne provided music at the graveside. Pallbearers were Ralph Robinson, Rev. Nathan Stuart, Rev. Tommy Hayes, Josh McFarland, Matthew Lillard, and Marion McFarland. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Monday Evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Salem #2 Baptist Church at P.O. Box 672, Mineral Bluff, Georgia 30559.
