Linda Stonner was born July 12, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri. She died July 18, 2026 of natural causes at the age of 90. She and her husband moved to Blue Ridge in 2020 to be closer to family.

Linda was a second grade teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District in Kansas before her retirement. After retirement she and her husband Ed did extensive traveling to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa. Ed and Linda were married almost 70 years. She loved spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed. She is survived by her son John, daughter Tara Briggs (Mark), two grandchildren Lindsay Kline (Michael) and Katie Cronin (Hugh), and four great grandchildren. We would like to thank everybody that worked in Blue Ridge Memory Care Facility and Willowbrook Hospice for their caring and compassion.
