Linda Sue Deal, age 76, of Copperhill passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at her home. Sue was born on April 25, 1948 in Copperhill to the late Johnny Patterson and Naomi Amburn Patterson. She worked in the deli department at Ingles in Blue Ridge. Sue is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Veronica Lynn Patterson; son, Christopher Deal; and brother, John "Beau" Patterson.

She is survived by her husband, Vance Deal; daughter, Tanya Deal; son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Toni Deal; grandchildren, Heather Deal and Patrick Jenkins; five great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Patterson; and sister, Jean (Cal) Dillard.

A private service will be conducted at the Deal Family Cemetery with Min. Corey Baldwin and Min. Casey Dillard officiating. Music will be provided by Min. Casey Dillard. Pallbearers will be Kirk Deal, Marty Deal, Junior Deal, Rocky Dillard, Matt White, and

Eric Dillard. Honorary pallbearers will be Levi White, Jordan Dillard and Jeff Key.
