Mrs. Linda Sue Davenport, age 66, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on October 13, 2015. Born in Fannin County, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Jackson and Rosa Lee Meers Payne. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and long time member of the New River Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, Tim Davenport of the home; children and their spouses, Timothy and Cassie Davenport, Jr. of Young Harris, GA and Crystal and Nicholas Dilbeck of Murphy, NC; brothers, Ray Payne and James Payne both of Blue Ridge, GA and Wade Payne of Copperhill, TN; sisters, Shirley Payne, Ruby Queen and Brenda Queen all of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Makayla Davenport and Kaitlyn and Keristen Dilbeck.Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Collis and Rev. Gary Queen officiating. Music will be provided by Lucy McKinney. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Blairsville, GA with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Shawn Payne, Derrick Queen, Austin Queen, Matthew Green, Wesley Green and Aaron Payne.
