Mrs. Lillian "Kay" Cole, age 73, of Cleveland, TN passed away on April 12, 2013. Born in McCaysville, GA she was the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Lola Grindstaff Patterson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Austin, TX and recently was involved with the Senior Circle at the Sky Ridge Chapter in Cleveland, TN. She was also preceded in death by her husband, MSgt Ret. USAF Billy Hyatt Cole, Sr. Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy H. Cole Jr. and Debby of Niceville, FL and Robbie and Ginger Cole of Ducktown, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Cole Griffith and Terry of Enterprise, AL; brother, Bill Patterson of MI; sister, Patricia Stanley of Goldsboro, NC; grandchildren, Billy H. Cole, III, Bradley S. Griffith, Scott P. Cole and Misty Southerland; great grandchildren, Maddox Cole Lanaiya Southerland, Layla Kay Southerland and Myles Cole. Graveside services were conducted on Monday, April 15, at 3:00 p.m. from the Zion Hill Cemetery with Rev. Glen Stiles officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
