Mrs. Lillian Franklin Campbell, age 72, of Sugar Valley, GA passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Campbell was born on January 8, 1937 in Fannin County, GA to the late Thomas and Callie Ensley Franklin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Campbell.She is survived by three daughters, Edie Goss of Blue Ridge, GA, Sheila and husband Harvey Norton of Sugar Valley, GA and Tracy and husband Lee Holsomback of Ringgold, GA; son, Rocky Campbell of Chatsworth, GA; two brothers, Carl Franklin of Epworth, GA and Clarence Franklin of Jonesboro, GA; sister, Willie Hosko of NC; twelve grandchildren, Roy Lee Campbell, Brittney Campbell, Brooke Campbell, Jonathan Johnson, Elisha Davis, Cody Herron, Trevor Herron, Amy Holsomback, Ali Holsomback, Shelley White, Casey McNelley and Lee Basquez; ten great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; ten step great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survives.Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from the Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. James Howard Galloway officiating. Music was provided by Carol Thomas. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Lebanon Church Cemetery. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
