Mr. Lester Earl Schroeder, age 87, of Fort Pierce, FL and McCaysville, GA passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA. The body was cremated. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 24, 1921. Mr. Schroeder retired from Detroit Ball Bearing Company as Vice-President. He was of the Catholic Faith and was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Schroeder of Fort Pierce, FL and McCaysville, GA; son, Steven Schroeder of Pontiac, Michigan; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Steven Beaton of Sterling Heights, Michigan; and two grandchildren. Kimberly Saelems and Renee Beauchamp. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
