Mr. Leroy Allen, age 72 of Copperhill, TN passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. Leroy was born at Liberty, NC and was a son of the late Ernest and Wilma Swanson Allen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Allen; son, Roy Lee Allen, and brother, Herman Allen. He had worked as a handyman for Nicholson's General store in Turtletown for a number of years. He is survived by brother, Victor Ray Allen of Tunnel Hill, GA; sisters , Stella Crump of Cleveland, TN, Hazel Brown of Rocky Face, GA, Carolyn Tucker of Enigma, GA, Glenda Keener of Tunnel Hill, GA; honorary sister, May Belle Queen of Copperhill, TN; grandson, Jacob Allen and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Allen. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill chapel with Pastor Doug Stiles officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Harmony cemetery in Isabella.
