Mr. Latimer DeFoor Carpenter, age 76, of Morganton, GA passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home. Mr. Carpenter was born on October 17, 1936 to the late Louis Emmett Carpenter and Frances DeFoor. Mr. Carpenter served as a salesman for Gilman Wall Covering for many years. Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie Holcomb Carpenter and a son, Mark Carpenter.Mr. Latimer Carpenter is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Lynne Carpenter of Morganton, GA; sisters, Judy Hicks of Dallas, GA and Mary Ann Cooper of Washington State; grandchildren, Robyn Rhoades of Hiram, GA, Cayci Carpenter of Blue Ridge, GA, Colton Carpenter of Blue Ridge, GA, and Luke Carpenter of Lincolnton, NC; great-grandchildren, Lucy Cannon and Trayse Cannon, both of Hiram, GA.Mr. Carpenter's wishes were to be cremated.
