Mr. Larry Daniel Van Zandt, age 78, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed March 5, 2012, at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA. He was a member of Salem # 1 (Sugar Hill ) Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was born in Fannin County, GA, the son of the late Dennis Van Zandt and Mary Etta Ralston Van ZandtHe is by his wife: Juanita Van Zandt of the home; three daughters and sons -in-law, Hope Van Zandt Reynolds (David) , Denise Van Zandt Cox (Mike), Connie Van Zandt Seitz (Steve) all of Dial, GA;one son and daughter-in-law Stacy Van Zandt, (Keri) of Dial, GA;one sister, Gail Bailey, of Dial, GA; one Brother,Phillip Van Zandt, of Marietta, GAFuneral Services will be conducted on Thursday March 8, at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Garrett and Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Van Zandt Cemetery with Min. Butch Jones Officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Stacy Van Zandt, David Reynolds, Mike Cox, Steve Seitz, Nathan Cox, Jason Lunsford.
