Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Eugene Barnes, age 70, of Ducktown, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Life Care Center in Ducktown. He was born on August 24, 1950, in Kissimmee, FL, to the late Ruben Lensey Barnes and Edith Foy Beasley Barnes. He was of the Baptist faith. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Aleta Barnes, and sister, Lynn Williams. Larry is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Harriet Barnes of Morganton; four nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. No services are planned at this time.
