Kenny Tafton Godsey, age 29 of Turtletown, TN passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at home. He was born on Friday, December 7, 1984. Survivors are his mother, Trish Baliles of Blue Ridge, GA; father, Johnny Godsey of Copperhill, TN; son, Trenton Tafton Godsey of Ducktown, TN; daughter, Aleigha Godsey of Turtletown, TN; brothers, Johnny Lynn Kyle of McCaysville, GA and Colton Higdon of Higdon, AL; sisters, Katie Higdon of Sarasota, FL, Jaycee Higdon and Ally Higdon both of Higdon, AL also survive.Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. from the Mount Carmel Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Callihan officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Cook, Tim Cook, Colton Higdon, Cagney Hughes, Anthony Queen and Travis Bell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Foster, Freddy Kelly and Daniel Peak.
