Mr. Kenneth J. Saye, age 63, of McCaysville, GA passed away August 5, 2016. Born in Pickens County, GA, he was the son of the late J.P. and Mary Payne Saye. Mr. Saye had worked for a number of years for Randall Howell Trucking and was of the Christian Faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mike SayeSurvivors include his wife, Mary Saye of McCaysville, GA; son, Kenneth Jason Saye (Mary) of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters, Leslie Saye of McCaysville, GA, Laura Meissner (Brandon) of Fayetteville, NC and Terri Saye of FL; brothers, James and Harry Saye of Ball Ground, GA; sisters, Rosemary Saye and Thelma Brumbelow of Ball Ground, GA; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. Music was provided by Rev. Pat Shelton. Interment followed in the Patterson Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Michael Saye, John Saye, Billy Saye, Jake Saye, Ricky McCoy, Ray Beavers, Mark Peden and Justin Harper.
