The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Kenneth Ray Knotts, age 49, of Farner, TN who passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013. Kenneth was born in Sarasota, FL and was employed as a Welder with Cryogenics Industries. He attended Liberty Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the U.S.Air Force.He is survived by his wife, Connie Hembree Knotts of Copperhill, TN; sons, Micah Thomas of Copperhill, TN and Dakota Knotts of Fort Carson, CO; parents, Fletcher & Myrna Knotts of Farner, TN; brother, Doug (Joan) Knotts of Dandridge, TN; sister, Margie (Keith) Baeumel of Farner, TN.Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Tim Dickey and Rev. Mike Jarrett officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid, Wilma Allen and Hazel Hembree. Pallbearers include Dakota Knotts, Micah Thomas, Doug Knotts, Allen Baeumel, Gilbert Johnson, Keith Baeumel, Jon-David Hembree and Scott Hembree. Interment will follow in the Hembree family cemetery.
