Kayden "Chappie" Roe Loudermilk, aged 13, was called home unexpectedly following a tragic accident. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact was immeasurable. Kayden was a bright and joyful soul, a light to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He brought laughter and happiness through his playful dancing, amazing flips, and the unique gift of making everyone around him smile.

Kindness and helpfulness were second nature to Kayden. Whether it was lending a hand to those in need or lifting someone's spirits with his infectious energy, he lived with a heart full of love and generosity. His family was always proud of the remarkable young man he was becoming-a son, brother, and friend who touched lives in unforgettable ways.

Kayden is survived by his parents, Mike and Karen Loudermilk of Turtletown; siblings, Kayleigh Loudermilk, Alison (Stephen) Arp, Joe Loudermilk, Lindsey (Andrew) Hyatt, and Adam Ferguson; grandfather, Vance Beasley; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church cemetery. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers, Joe Loudermilk, Tyler Allen, Logan Allen, Bryson Allen, Casey Arp, and Adam Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers were Andrew Hyatt and Stephen Arp. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM.
