Obituary

Kay Lavon Trumps was born on April 18, 1953 in Houston, Texas. The family moved from Houston and lived in Lake Charles and Lafayette, Louisiana for a while before moving to Beaumont, Texas where Kay and her older brothers Mitch and Rick attended Beaumont High School. Kay enjoyed playing French horn in band at Beaumont HS and took her skills with her when the family moved to the South Houston/Pasadena area where Kay attended Dobie HS and performed with the Dobie HS Marching Band.

Kay and Ken Noble were married on June 4, 1971 and celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2021. They retired to Blue Ridge, Georgia in April of 2020. In May of 2020, Kay was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer and had two golf ball sized brain tumors surgically removed. She never recovered from the tumors and even suffered cardiac arrest in August of 2020. Her husband Ken became her caregiver for almost 2 and ½ years. Kay Noble leaves a husband, two sons, two daughters, three grandchildren and four siblings. She was passionate about her art and crafts, family and church.

Kay Noble was an exemplary woman, a faithful Christian and dedicated wife, mother and servant to those less fortunate. She was dearly loved by all who knew her. There will be a memorial service in her honor Friday, December 9 at the Church of Joy in Williamson, Georgia, 10am.

Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
