Mrs. Kathy Lynn Nari, age 56, of the Lifecare Center of Copper Basin, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Kathy was a native of the Copper Basin and was a daughter of the late Clarence and Frances Ray Nicholson, Jr. She was a lifelong member of the McGeetown House of Prayer and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Nicholson.She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Richard Nari of the home; son, Daniel (Jennifer) Swanson of Knoxville, TN; daughter, April (Jim) Skidmore of McCaysville, GA; brother, Donald Nicholson of Cleveland, TN; four grandchildren, Abigail and Lily Swanson, Tyler and Emilee Corn; one great-grandchild, Caiden Corn.Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. Music will be by Ed Vest.
