Kathryn Louise Bradley Crawford was born March 23, 1940 in McCaysville, Georgia and passed away on October 31, 2023. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Coltown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude F. Bradley and Nellie Hayes Bradley as well as her siblings, Edna B. Harlow, C.J. Bradley, and Bobby Bradley. Kathryn was survived by her children Gary L. Crawford, Greg S. Crawford and Karen Rachael Crawford, and her grandchildren Garran Crawford, Cody Crawford, Tyler Crawford, Steven Shelton and Korie Shelton, and also her great grandchildren Zoe Crawford, Layla Crawford, Maddox Crawford, Lukas Cirlos, Kali Cirlos and Clara Crawford. Other family included Sheliah Crawford, Hope Crawford, Joe Cirlos, Joanie Crawford, Sean Reilly, Jeff Ondatje, Pam Crawford Dixe and several other nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her siblings Dottie B. Taylor and Charles Bradley.

Kathryn graduated from West Fannin High School and then moved to Atlanta for a few years and worked for Globe Life Insurance Company. She moved back to McCaysville, got married and raised three children. Kathryn ran a daycare center at home for many years. The kids loved her and referred to her as "Kat with the orange hair." They recognized her many years later by her beautiful red hair. She lived most of her life in McCaysville, Georgia, and loved the mountains and her hometown. She was an avid Elvis fan and was caught several times sneaking backstage at his concerts. She enjoyed making various flower arrangements and ornamental crafts, and you might have seen her in her signature leopard print attire. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
