Mrs. Kathleen White, age 88, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her home. Mrs. White was born on November 10, 1926 in Fannin County, GA to the late F.L. McFarland and Gertha Garrin McFarland. She worked in the lunchroom at Blue Ridge Elementary and was a member of New Testament Baptist Church and attended Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. John Raymond White. She is survived by her son, Raymond White, Jr. of Blue Ridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Larry Sosebee and Jeanette and Leroy Holloway, all of Blue Ridge; sisters, Frances Sisson of Blue Ridge and Ivy Priest of Taylor, Michigan; grandchildren, Jimmy (Darlene) Holloway, Robert (Alice) Holloway, Jessica (Jacob) Franklin, and Sharon (Danny) Neiland; and great grandchildren, Justin Holloway, Autumn Holloway, Kirsten Holloway, Sawyer Holloway, Aubree Franklin, Hudson Franklin, Peyton Franklin, Heather Neiland and Ashlea Neiland; and great great grandchild, Landon Holloway. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Freddy Thomas and Rev. James Worley officiating. Music was by Robert Buchanan. Pallbearers were Richard White, Justin Holloway, Jimmy Holloway, Ed Hawkins, Tom McFarland and Bud Chastain. Interment followed in Pleasant Hill (Hardscrabble Road) Church Cemetery.
