Mrs. Harriette Katherine Walker, age 92, of Melbourne, FL, passed away on January 18, 2021 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Weldon and Arleen Pack. Katherine was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College. She was employed by Civil Service contracting for NASA where she was involved in the purchase negotiations of the first engines used for launching rockets. She also traveled the world as she served with the World Council for the Methodist Church. Katherine was involved with the Girl Scouts of America as a field executive for 17 years. She loved her cats and over the years along with her husband had rescued many cats and took them into her their care. Katherine was the last of her siblings. Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside services were conducted on Monday, January 25, 2021 from the Barnes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.
