Katherine Ellis, age 59, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA. Ms. Ellis was born in Fannin County, GA on February 9, 1956 to the late John Howard Jones and Mozelle Sain Jones. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Misty Winders of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Joey Johnson of Douglasville, GA, Kelly and Stan Smith of Cleveland, TN and Stacy and Randy Mills of Jackson, GA; brother, John Jones, Jr. of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Shirley Chapman of Stockbridge, GA, Linda Jones of Blue Ridge, Nora Baxter of Stockbridge, and Jody Rogers of Murphy, NC; and 7 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from Liberty Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with Min. Justin Mason officiating.
