Katelynn Elizabeth Simonds, age 11 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at her residence.

Katelynn was born in Riverdale, Georgia on September 26, 2012 to Kristy Beecher Rollins and the late Glenn Earl Simonds. Katelynn was a 5th grader at Cowan Road Elementary School and had been a cheerleader for the Spalding County Recreation Department. She was a loving daughter with a generous spirit, beautiful heart and a wonderful smile. Her favorite colors were pink and purple, she loved to dance and was always making jewelry for herself, her friends and her family.

Katelynn is survived by her mother, Kristy (Kevin) Rollins; brother, David Simonds; sisters, Amanda Bazzett (Bruce); sister, Tonya Fox (Caine); nephew and nieces, Alexander Bazzett, Bailey Bazzett, April Fox, Corbin Fox; God-grandparents, Laurie and Chris Wells; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation for Katelynn Elizabeth Simonds will be Friday, April 12, 2024 from 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm Conner-Westbury Funeral Home followed by a funeral service in the Chapel. Pastor Brandon Footit will officiate. A private interment will be held.
