Jyson Earl Swartz, age 44, of Copperhill passed away on January 22, 2022. He was born on June 12, 1977 in Kingston, NY to David Louis Swartz and Evva May Sickler. Jyson worked for Ed Patterson with Big Frog Foundations whom he thought highly of. He was a loving son, husband, father, papa, and friend. Next to that, Jyson was all about riding his Harley, and he had to have his Monsters, bingo cards, and long rides. He is preceded in death by his father, David Swartz, and brother, Christopher Swartz; grandparent Ed Burlingame; and step-father John Donofrio. Jyson is survived by his wife, Amy Hall Swartz of the home; children, Chasity (Matthew) Kinman of Ducktown, Destiny (Travis) Geren of Copperhill, Shayne Norris of Copperhill, Raven (Titus Ketchens) Howell of Copperhill, Brenna Taylor of Redfield, SD, Abree Taylor of Redfield, SD, and Julian Brown of Hiawatha, KS; mother, Evva Donofrio of Mount Vernon, OH; siblings, Evva (Randy) Mayfield, Gregg Ricketson, Shawn (Kathleen) Ricketson, Jamie (Debbie) Swartz, Christine Hope (Dan) Mathew, Curt (Jennifer) Swartz, Amanda (Travis) Thomas, and Ashley (Aaron) Taylor; grandchildren, Adelyn Abna, Alyssa Hollman, Ayhden Weathers, Halaynah Woodall, Waylon Campbell, Nataleigh Woodall, Hasleigh Ketchens, Chelsea Hawkins, and Emerson Geren; and grandparents, Evva Burlingame of Mount Vernon, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Staffordtown Holiness Church with Rev. Justin Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Hembree Family Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Shawn Ricketson, Jamie Swartz, Curt Swartz, Travis Thomas, Daniel Mathew, Brett Smith, Shayne Norris, Travis Geren, Matthew Kinman, Ed Patterson, Henry Hall, and David Sauls. Jyson's grandchildren will be serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m, and also, on Wednesday morning prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to help defray final expenses.
